Huletts-on-Lake-George is a family destination place that people return to over and over again. Our procedure for renting cottages generally includes offering the same house to the same family who occupied that house during the same time the previous year when possible. This is a general rule that we try to adhere to. However, sometimes scheduling conflicts arise due to variations in dates year to year. In such instances we do our best to try to accommodate all parties.
We do not start renting houses for the upcoming summer season before the year in question. We have learned through experience that job changes, school calendars and summer schedules all make planning a vacation over a year in advance very difficult. Generally we write to individuals who stayed with us the previous year in January and ask them to inform us of their vacation plans by the end of February. Thus, it is usually not until March that we know what openings will be available for the upcoming summer.
Presently our dates of operation are from Memorial Day to Columbus Day. During the summer "season" (mid-June through Labor Day weekend) we only rent houses from Saturday to Saturday. All other times "off season" (Memorial Day through June 15th and Labor Day weekend through Columbus Day) we will consider renting weekends.
